(KNOX/Learfield) – More of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness is reopening after the wildfires that damaged over 60,000 acres. The Superior National Forest says several entry points are open once again for both day and overnight use, but some campsites, portages and fire-damaged areas remain closed. Entry points at the Little Indian Sioux River North, Sioux-Hustler Trail and Stuart River will stay closed through spring of next year as recovery efforts continue in those specific areas.
