(KNOX) – The Annual KNOX Charity Golf Tournament Presented by Hugo’s Family Marketplace will be happening today at Valley Golf Course in East Grand Forks. All proceeds at today’s event will go to benefit the Listen Center. Julie Nelson is the CEO of the Listen Center, and she explains what the organization does.
Nelson is appreciative for the additional funds that are received at this event, since they are used for extra services the organization provides.
Nelson is also grateful for the partnerships the Listen Center has with both KNOX and Hugo’s.
Regardless of how much in donations the Listen Center receives today, Nelson wants to thank the community for all the money that will be raised.
The Listen Center is located at 2100 South Washington Street in Grand Forks. They directly support 80 individuals, and also support another 50 to 60 just through its drop-in center. Check in and lunch is scheduled for 11am today, and a shotgun start will happen at 12 noon.
