Construction Of New Panda Express Location In Grand Forks Continuing As Planned

(KNOX) –Construction of a new Panda Express location in Grand Forks that is being built where the former Ground Round restaurant was is continuing as planned. 

The demolition of Ground Round has been mostly completed. The original plan to construct a 3,000-square-foot restaurant and drive through was approved back in April. The restaurant has also been approved for a building permit. The new Panda Express will be located at 2800 32nd Avenue South. 

Ground Round closed down in June after being in business for 40 years. Construction hasn’t started yet for the new Panda Express and there is no set timeline for when the restaurant will open.

This Panda Express would be the second one in Grand Forks, as there is one already located in Memorial Union at the University of North Dakota.
