(KNOX) – Two of the five bill drafts that were brought up at the North Dakota special legislative session have failed. The drafts that failed were the data center moratoriums and possible funding for a state childcare assistance program.

The House overwhelmingly voted down motions, as the moratorium proposal failed 68-25, and the childcare funding lost 71-21.

The North Dakota Legislature started the three day special session Wednesday. They will also be considering bills that would ban kratom and restart funding for the construction of the Military Gallery Museum in Bismarck.

Two kratom bills have advanced and they could be voted on as early as today.
