(KNOX) – The Grand Forks Spitfires Softball team raised nearly $10,000 for local nonprofits during its inaugural season. Exactly $9,933 were raised for over 20 organizations.
The Spitfires also had over 1,700 pounds of food collected during its Jersey Food Drive and more than 20 trees that were planted through the Home Run for Roots program.
The Spitfires played their first season of summer collegiate softball in the Northwoods League in 2026.
