(KNOX) –Two men were not hurt when trying to land a floatplane that flipped over on Lake Bemidji. The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office says they received 911 calls last Friday afternoon that the plane had flipped and was sinking.
The two men were able to get out of the plane safely, and the Sheriff’s Office says the pontoons of the float plane stopped it from completely going underwater.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident.
