(KNOX) –The Faith & Conviction Coalition is organizing a protest against Flock cameras in the Fargo-Moorhead area and surrounding communities. The protest is scheduled to happen today.
The “DeFlock F/M Metro Fired Up Friday Takeover” will go from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Organizers say this protest is part of the nationwide “DeFlock Week of Action.”
The protest is designed to show how the cameras are displayed. The organizers’ goal is also to tell local governments to remove these surveillance cameras from public spaces.
This protest will happen a week after a protest in Fargo turned violent over political differences.
