(KNOX) –A 33-year-old Fargo man who suffered serious injuries at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah is in critical condition. David Brant was hurt in a high-speed crash where he was attempting to set a new land speed record.
Brant is being treated at the University of Utah hospital and his most serious injuries include a broken neck and a traumatic brain injury.
A GoFundMe has already raised nearly $66,000 dollars for his wife and children. The money will help with many expenses such as travel and housing, as the family is with him in Utah.
