(KNOX) –A protest against use of Flock Safety cameras in Fargo last Saturday got violent.
Several people were seen yelling at each other before punches were thrown, as some people were bleeding. Even though all the protesters were against the cameras, the event turned violent because of political differences.
The protest and community car meet was organized by groups calling themselves Midnight Mafia Fargo and 701’s Most Wanted. They promoted the event as a peaceful and non partisan gathering. The event got violent within 40 minutes.
Fargo police had to use pepper spray, and some of the protesters had minor injuries. No arrests were made.
