(KNOX) -The Grand Forks Police Department is looking for students to participate in its annual Citizens’ Academy.
The Police Department will accept applications until the course starts on August 11th. The course will run from the 11th up until October 6th.
It is a nine week program and it is free to participate in. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, and they must either live, work or attend school in Grand Forks. They also need to pass a background check
The academy usually has 20 students each year, and there are six to eight openings for this year’s program.
