(KNOX) –UND President Andrew Armacost joined the Ryan Cunningham Show earlier this week to talk about the future of the Ray Richards Golf Course Redevelopment Program. Armacost mentioned last month that the university wanted to preserve the course because it was costing them $500,000 a year . Armacost tells KNOX on Tuesday that the expenses to reopen the golf course were already incurred, and that former expense statements weren’t accurate.
Armacost also said Tuesday that the university wants to preserve the golf course for the community.
Armacost believes there is a good chance the golf course will close if a tax incentive for the redevelopment program isn’t approved.
