(KNOX) – The Williston Fire Department says a woman in her 20s has both second- and third-degree burns following a fire at a fourplex a little after 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Six residents are also displaced.
The department says a work crew hit a natural gas line next to the home, causing an explosion and then a fire. The gas line was secured, but crews put the fire out four hours later. Part of the roof and floor ended up collapsing into the basement.
The woman is in serious but stable condition.
