(KNOX) – The Community Foundation of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks, and the region is investing $54,000 in music education through the Joe K. Neel Family Fund grant program.
The grants will be given to Manville Public Schools, the Grand Cities Children’s Choir, Northern Valley Youth Orchestras, and the Greater Grand Forks Symphony Orchestra.
The Neel Family Fund was created with the purpose of growing music education opportunities for those who are 18 years old and younger in Grand Forks County. The nonprofit has provided $16 million across the middle and upper Red River Valley region since 1998.
