(KNOX) – Two men have been charged with four felony counts after investigators say they were busted trying to sell drugs in Minot
Ward County task force officers say they started looking into the men this spring. Clarence Brown and Dalshawn Lindsley are from Detroit and they were believed to be traveling to North Dakota to sell fentanyl.
Officers used a trap and trace warrant to track Brown’s cell phone. They say the men rented both a car and a hotel room in Minot.
On July 1st, officers then followed their vehicle and stopped them to search the car. Police say they found fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, and around $8,000 in cash.
A judge set their bond at $20,000 and both men will be back in court next month.
