(KNOX) – Early voting in Minnesota is starting today, and Minnesotans can start casting their ballots for the August 11 primary. Voters can cast their ballots by mail or in person, and state law allows voters to do so 46 days before the election. Minnesota uses an open primary, which allows citizens to select which party’s primary they choose to vote in. Voters can also apply for an absentee ballot online before July 28.
