(KNOX) – The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says that deputies responded to a report of a crash near Highway 9 and Pelican Drive a little after 2am on the west end of Pelican Lake.
A motorcycle had been traveling south on Highway 9 when it tipped over and swerved 30 yards into a ditch. A 41-year-old man suffered a broken leg and a head injury. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Detroit Lakes.
A 37-year-old woman suffered injuries to her leg and head. She was taken by helicopter to a hospital in Fargo.
It’s unclear if they both had helmets on or if alcohol was involved.
