(KNOX) – A water main break has led to a warning to not use water in Emerado.
The city is concerned that back flow could have pushed contaminants into the system, leading to a health risk. The warning will stay in place until samples confirm that the water is safe.
The warning was issued by the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality.
A water main break in Finley recently caused the same set of circumstances. The community had stations in place for water to be picked up and disposable plates and silverware to prevent dishwashing during that time.
