(KNOX) – A major promoter of live entertainment that recently closed has filed for bankruptcy.
Jade Presents, LLC has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, which is a reorganization of debt to pay back creditors over time. The declaration came a week after the company announced that they were closing their operation, throwing several shows into limbo.
The company lists assets of just under $400,000, and debt of nearly $3 million, estimating the number of creditors owed between 5,001 and 10,000.
Alison Krauss & Union Station, a performance set for June 16 at Bluestem Amphitheater, will move to Scheels Arena in Fargo. Tickets will be through Ticketmaster.
A court hearing is set for Friday, June 12.
