(KNOX) – Red River edged past Central 1-0 in a softball duel at Albrecht Field at UND Thursday night.
Jocelyn Berg notched 16 strikeouts to lead Red River.
The Riders are now 7-3 in Eastern Dakota Conference play, and are a half-game back of the leader, Fargo Davies. Red River plays Davies at 7:00 PM Tuesday night at Albrecht. Red River hosts South tonight.
Central is now 2-6 in the league, and plays at Davies tonight.
