(KNOX) – The Grand Forks School Board voted to approve the reduction of over 13 full-time equivalent staff members.
Grand Forks Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Terry Brenner said that the district voted to approve the cuts at the school board meeting two weeks ago.
“At the February 9th 2026 school board meeting we discussed the budget realignment and the board approved a $4.4 million budget reduction,” said Brenner.
The cuts come after a budget reduction practice that started last September when it was revealed that a budget short fall was in store for the current school year.
