Greater Grand Forks Sertoma Club Freedom Week Winners

(KNOX) – The Greater Grand Forks Sertoma Club 2026 winners of the Freedom Week Celebration, are first place winner Sana Nur of South Point Elementary. Second place is Amina Heieie of Discovery Elementary. Third place is Goziem Igboamalu of Kelly Elementary.

The winners were honored Tuesday at Eagles Crest Grill in Grand Forks.

Grand Forks Mayor Brandon Bochenski and East Grand Forks Mayor Mark Olstad were in attendance.

Each of the winners had to write an essay which was read at the ceremony. There were more than 120 students who wrote essays.
