(KNOX) – The Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation awarded Twining Elementary and Middle School a grant to address capacity and condition deficiencies at the schools on the Grand Forks Air Force Base.
The project is part of the U.S. Department of War’s Public Schools on Military Installations program.
The program aims to respond to deficiencies at schools located on U.S. military bases.
The Schools provide an education to hundreds of students whose families work or live at the base.
