Most Grand Forks City Offices Closed on Thanksgiving

(KNOX) – Most Grand Forks city offices will be closed on Thursday, November 27th, for Thanksgiving.  Regular City business will not be conducted on that day.  However, emergency police and fire services will continue to operate as scheduled.

City services such as refuse collection will not take place on Thursday.  Regular Thursday pickup for the “A” route will take place on Tuesday, November 25th, and Thursday’s “B” route pickup will be on Wednesday, November 26th, along with regularly scheduled routes.

Recycling pick-up for Thursday customers will be rescheduled to Friday, November 28th, and Friday’s recycling will be picked up on Saturday, November 29, 2025.  Items must be placed out for pickup by 7:00 a.m. on your designated day.

The Cities Area Transit (CAT), including City Bus, Senior Rider Bus and Dial-A-Ride will not run on Thanksgiving but will resume regular schedules and routes on Friday, November 28th.

City offices will re-open for business on Friday, November 28th.
