(KNOX) -According to court records a Grand Forks woman pleaded guilty to third-degree murder for selling fentanyl to a young woman who fatally overdosed in East Grand Forks.
Rachel Boswell, 44, faced the charges.
The records state that in August East Grand Forks police were dispatched to a suspected fentanyl overdose fatality.
A 20-year-old woman was found and medical personnel confirmed she was dead. There was drug paraphernalia found near her body.
Boswell faces up to 25 years in prison for the felony charge, though state sentencing guidelines recommend between a little over six years to nearly 16 years depending on Boswell’s criminal history.
