(KNOX) – North Dakota Highway Patrol troopers now have new technology at their disposal.
The highway patrol said that its troopers have transitioned to the Axon TASER 10. The new Tasers offers better accuracy and reliability, and a safer less-lethal option during use-of-force incidents.
The Patrol had already used it within days of deployment, helping to de-escalate a violent situation and bring it to a safe resolution without further injury to the suspect or the trooper.
All troopers are trained and certified on the Taser.
