(KNOX) – A 76-year-old Grand Forks man is dead after a train vs. vehicle crash over the weekend
The highway patrol says the man was in a Chevrolet Equinox high centered, facing south on the railroad tracks located NW at the intersection of 16th Street North East and 17th Avenue North East.
An eastbound train struck the Chevrolet. The Chevrolet was dragged approximately 60 feet, where it came to rest along the railroad tracks.
The man died from his injuries.
This crash remains under investigation.
