(KNOX) – The highway patrol said that two members of the Mayville State golf team were injured in a crash on Interstate 94.
According to the highway patrol on Friday at 5:45 pm, the van carrying the team was going east on I-94 and was getting ready to pass the driver of a Ford F150 in the right lane, when the driver of the F150 went to make a U-turn by using a crossover in the median.
According to the crash report, the F150 entered the path of the van and was hit on the driver’s side.
The people in the van who were hurt are Tina Valeu of Mayville and Kaylee De Rocquigny of Portland.
The driver of the Ford F150 is 95-year-old Albert Weber of Linton. Weber was cited with a moving violation.
