(KNOX) – The Columbia Road Overpass in Grand Forks has opened ahead of scheduled.
The opening comes after the project fell behind earlier this year.
The bridge is on the University of North Dakota campus and was not open for the first day of class on Monday August 25th.
Both directions on the overpass were closed since spring, cutting off the north to south thoroughfare that crosses the railroad tracks in campus.
The Columbia Road Overpass project fell behind schedule, but time was made up opening a month ahead of scheduled.
