(KNOX) – This week a 45-year-old woman from Fairmount was riding a bicycle on County Road 81 in Richland County. A 2008 Yaris was traveling northbound on County Road 81 and struck the rear of the bicycle.
The rider of the bicycle was pronounced deceased on scene.
The driver of the Yaris, a 33-year-old woman from, Hankinson, had minor injuries. She was not wearing her seat belt.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
