(KNOX) -Two businesses in East Grand Forks have been approved to open retail cannabis stores.
Red Iris LLC and Skol MN LLC were chosen for cannabis business registrations after a random drawing this week.
Two alternate businesses were drawn one for each location, Boreal Elite LLC was picked for the downtown zone and Green Meadow Orbit LLC in the highway commercial zone.
There were 149 applications in East Grand Forks for the retail cannabis registrations. Seventy-five for the downtown zone and 74 applied for the highway zone.
