(KNOX) – South Washington Street will be down to one lane in each direction from Demers Ave. to Hammerling Avenue for a micro surfacing project to the road.
This work will occur at night as crews will begin on Tuesday, August 19th at 9 pm. All lanes will be back open during the day starting at 6 am. The lane closures will only occur while crews are working. The closures will also impact access to side streets and parking lots from South Washington Street.
The entire micro surfacing project is expected to be complete by Friday, August 2nd, weather permitting.
