(KNOX) -The Grand Forks Police Department longest serving officer’s retired Wednesday.
Sgt. Kevin Kallinen was recognized during a ceremony for spending more than 45 years with the department on patrol.
Kallinen was presented with a framed certificate highlighting his time with the department
He given a book of photos taken throughout his career, a badge and credentials, a knife etched with his dates of service, a certificate of recognition and a large card for those who were at the ceremony to sign, as well.
