(KNOX) – The City of Grand Forks continues to work on the 2026 budget.
“The main focus is people. Which means our staff, our employees. Public safety and infrastructure, those are always the top three things that we work on in any budget,” Grand Forks Mayor Brandon Bochenski said.
Bochenski said that city’s total budget for 2026, excluding interfund transfers, comes in at over 229 million dollars.
The Grand Forks City Council is currently scheduled to vote on the preliminary budget at their next meeting on August 4th.
