(KNOX) – The highway patrol responded to a report of a submerged vehicle in Stink Lake in Benson County. The exact date and time of the crash are currently unknown.
A preliminary investigation at the scene revealed tire marks in the gravel, indicating a recent crash.
A Toyota entered a ditch and rolled over large rocks before coming to rest on its roof in Stink Lake.
The driver of the Toyota, a female of Jamestown, 67, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
