(KNOX) – The Grand Forks Police Department said that a kidnapping this week that started at a super market was unplanned.
Police say that Abdi Ahmedali, 43, took a stranger at gunpoint from the parking lot of a Washington Street store and made the victim to drive him to Grand Forks Islamic Center so he could pray.
Ahmedali went into Islamic Center, the victim drove away and called for help.
