(KNOX) -Former North Dakota state Senator Ray Holmberg of Grand Forks is scheduled for sentencing on March 26th, after pleading guilty to a federal charge of traveling abroad with the intent to have sex with adolescents.
The Bureau of Prisons will determine if the agency has the ability to provide adequate medical care for him.
According to court records the defense filed about 900 pages of medical records to disclose Holmberg’s medical conditions.
The Government now wants to have the medical records reviewed by a Bureau of Prisons physician.
