(KNOX) – A man is in the Grand Forks County Correctional Facility after police were called to an apartment complex on Monday.
Grand Forks Police were called to Continental Drive after they received a report of a man in the hallway of this apartment building saying he was going to kill people.
A witness reported the man was carrying a handgun.
Officers said that the man was in his apartment and several apartments were evacuated.
After about 45 minutes 54 year-old Elroy Thomas came out, surrendered and was arrested.
Police said that more charges are possible.
