(KNOX) – Governments throughout Grand Forks County would like to add a member from the Grand Forks Air Force Base to their planning and zoning arms.
It is an effort that is supported by a proposed bill in Bismarck. The proposed legislation centers on land development that take place around military installations North Dakota.
The city and the county of Grand Forks would like to add a member from the Grand Forks Air Force Base to their planning and zoning commissions.
The member from the Air Force base would be a non-voting member of the City of Grand Forks Planning and Zoning Commission.
The planned bill is in the state Senate.
