(KNOX) – The City of Grand Forks is enforcing parking restrictions.
Grand Forks City Administrator Todd Feland says things such as snow occurrences and street maintenance days are enforced.
“So whenever we have a snow event or something like that,” Feland says.
The City of Grand Forks is towing cars when they are left on the street, when there are signs that say parking on the street is prohibited.
“I think we are doing a better job of ticketing. Nobody wants their car towed,” says Feland.
If there is a sign on your street that says “No Parking Monday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for street maintenance,” do not park on the street.
