Grand Forks New Police Chief Sworn In

(KNOX) – Officially Grand Forks has a new police chief. Jason Freedman was sworn in at Grand Forks City Hall Friday morning.

“To the best of my ability,” Freedman said as Grand Forks Mayor Brandon Bochenski administered the oath.

Freedman said it is an honor to be the Grand Forks Police Chief.

“I am grateful and humbled to become our next chief, and join not only the law enforcement family here, but also our community,” Said Freedman after being sworn in.

Freedman comes to Grand Forks from Wisconsin where he was with the Madison Police Department.
