(KNOX) – A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 9 p.m. this evening until 6 p.m. Thursday over the Red River Valley plus portions of northwest Minnesota.
Heavy snow of four to seven inches of snow will accumulate with winds gusting to 40 miles per hour.
Plan on slippery roads and hazardous conditions for the Thursday morning and evening commutes.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
