(KNOX) – Votes from the 2024 General Election in Grand Forks County are being canvassed inside the County building this morning.
Canvassing board members from Districts 18, 20, 42 and 43 accepted the oath, designated County Commissioner Rob Rost as chairman, then started with the “set asides,” ballots that were set aside until the voter reappeared before County Auditor Deb Nelson with proper identification.
Next came rejecting or accepting late-arriving absentee ballots. Eventually, the canvassing board would move to accept an abstract with additional accepted ballots.
Completed and returned vouchers complete the canvassing process and the results of the November 5 General Election are official.
