(KNOX) – CBS Sports Network announced the 2024-25 national television schedule for men’s and women’s college basketball on Tuesday morning and among the nine televised games involving Summit League teams is North Dakota men’s basketball’s highly-anticipated December 18 match up against Alabama.
Tip-off time against the Crimson Tide is set for 8:00 p.m. CT, a half hour later than its original 7:30 p.m. start, from inside the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. The contest is the first of seven Summit League men’s games that will be showcased by the network and is the lone non-conference action of the men’s slate.
It will be the first meeting all-time between North Dakota and Alabama which is preseason No. 2 after receiving 14 first-place votes in the Associated Press Top 25 preseason rankings. Alabama enters the 2024-25 season fresh off of a Final Four run last March where its season ended against defending national champion UConn. UND plays into year six under head coach Paul Sather and is coming off of an 18-win campaign and a third-place finish in the Summit League regular season standings.
