(KNOX) – The inside lanes on N. Washington St. both northbound and southbound will be closed from Demers Ave. to 1st Ave. N. starting on Monday, October 21.
The lane closure is part of the next phase of the reconstruction of N. Washington St. from Demers Ave. to 1st Ave. N.
Traffic on N. Washington St. will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
Reminder that due to this construction, Washington St. is not designated as a truck route. Truck traffic will be rerouted.
Construction on N. Washington St. is expected to be complete by Mid-November, weather permitting.
