(KNOX) – East Grand Forks is seeing a number of school bus stop arm violations.
Motorists pass the school bus when the crossing arm is out.
City attorney Ron Galstad told a work session of the East Grand Forks City Council that the city is on track for 30 violations… with just days remaining in the school year.
The fine per violation is $585.
Galstad says not many people fight it when they’re captured by video cameras inside the school bus.
