(KNOX) -University of North Dakota sophomore forward Jackson Blake is one of ten finalists for hockey’s Hobey Baker Award.
Blake becomes the 27th North Dakota player to earn the distinction and the first since Shane Pinto in 2021.
Blake’s 57 points this season are second in the nation and pacing the NCHC going into its Frozen Face-off.
The list of finalists will be pared down to three by April 4…and the Hobey Baker Award winner will be announced April 12 at the NCAA Frozen Four in Saint Paul.
The Fighting Hawks play Omaha at 4 p.m. in Friday’s Frozen Faceoff semifinal in St. Paul.
