Another candidate has entered the race for the Grand Forks County Commission.
Manvel resident and former Grand Forks council member Terry Bjerke announced today (Monday) that he will make another run for office.
In a prepared statement Bjerke says the county doesn’t have a revenue short fall but a spending problem. If elected Bjerke pledges never to support a county sales tax or efforts to raise property taxes.
Ron Barta has also picked up the necessary paperwork to make a run for a seat currently held by David Engen and Cynthia Pic. The filing deadline is April 8th.
