By Doug Barrett Mar 15, 2023 | 7:01 AM

East Grand Forks is expected to dip into its pool of money in the Altru Recreational Partnership fund to help support another summer Grand Rides Bike Share.

The Downtown Development Association has requested a $10,000 donation from the city to support the bike rental program.

The DDA says rentals increased 41% last year and the goal is to add another 60 bikes in 2023.

The city currently has $150,000 in the Altru fund.
