Grand Forks Police are notifying the public about the presence of a Level-Three “High Risk” Sex Offender living in the city.
Twenty-nine-year-old Dakota Christianson now lives at 1702 22nd Avenue South (Apt. 101).
Christianson was convicted in 2012 of gross sexual imposition involving a 12-year-old.
The State Sex Offender Risk Assessment Committee assigned Christianson a risk level of HIGH and as a result has a lifetime registration requirement in North Dakota.
The GFPD notifies the public on the location of sex offenders in order to comply with state laws.
There are 110 registered offenders that either live…work…or attend school within the City of Grand Forks. Of that group 11 are so-called “Level 3” offenders.
