Angel J. Milete, the person of interest being sought in the May 29 overnight shooting in Downtown Fargo, turned himself into Fargo Police at 1:21 p.m. today (May 29).

At approximately 1 a.m. on May 29, the Fargo Police Department (FPD) responded to a call for service at the intersection of 2nd Ave. N. and Broadway for reports of gunshots fired. Multiple gunshots were fired by a suspect who fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers.
Two victims were transported to a local healthcare facility for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The FPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect in this incident, Angel J. Milete. Milete, a 21-year-old male from Fargo, was last wearing black pants and a black t-shirt.
Milete should be considered armed and dangerous; members of the public are asked to refrain from approaching or attempting to apprehend him.
This is an active investigation and no further information will be released at this time.
